- The burgesses request remedy as they made fine before the council of York for the last tenth . . . but now the fine is running upon them having no regard for the fine which they made . . .
- Nature of endorsement
- Let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that when they have viewed the rolls and remembrances of the Exchequer, if they are able to find that the burgesses made a fine for fifty marks for the reasons contained in the petition but not only for the tenth money, then they are to do justice to the burgesses discharging them of the demand.
