William de Redynges of London states that because he was with the Earl of Lancaster at Bedford, Simon Fraunceys and Henry Coumartyn, Sheriffs of London, came to his house in Smithfield and carried off his goods to the value of £200, leaving him in great poverty. He requests a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
He is to sue before those who will be appointed to inquire into, and to hear and determine, such trespasses etc. committed by the sheriffs and under sheriffs etc.

Note
CPR 1327-30 pp.399 is dated 15 June 1329, and p. 497 is dated 12 March 1330. The petition would seem to date from after the first pardon, and probably from after the second.Simon Fraunceys and Henry Coumartyn were Sheriffs of London between Michaelmas 1328 and Michaelmas 1329.
