Description

1 item (apparently originally accompanying a report from the Officer Commanding the Royal Engineers, 10 June 1854) extracted from WO 55/1621/3. Bahamas. 'Nassau Relative Sketch shewing the site of the fire in Bay Street which occasioned the destruction of ordnance Property down'. Reference note. Scale: 1 inch to 75 feet. Compass indicator. Signed: Captain M H Synge, Commanding Royal Engineers, and W J C [?Cen], 9 June 1854.

WO 55/1621/3 is missing; the dummy for this plan was found in WO 55/1621/2. A search of WO 55/1617/3, which relates to the Bahamas at this period, found no obviously related papers.
