2 items extracted from WO 55/1620/5. Ionian Islands (now part of Greece): Zante (Zakynthos). (3) '... Sketch shewing the position of buildings in and around the R.E. Yard, and site of Carpenter's shop burnt 23d Septr. 1848'. Scale: 1:480 (calculated). Signed: Lieutenant J C B De Butts, Royal Engineers, 1 December 1848. (4) 'Plan and Section of the Carpenters shop at Zante, shewing proposed Roof, doors, and Shutters, to replace those destroyed by fire'. Scale: [1:98] (calculated). Signed: Captain Frederick E Chapman, Royal Engineers, 8 November 1848. Dimensions: (3) 22.5 cm x 27.5 cm; (4) 25.5 cm x 21 cm.
