Kent: Dover. 'Dover Harbour. Dover Bay': chart showing soundings, the town, with some streets and buildings named, the harbour, and the Admiralty pier, with an extension in progress. Scale: 1 inch to 100 fathoms. Compass indicator. Surveyed by E K Calver Master, RN, 1859; resurveyed 1865; printed by Hydrographic Office. MS additions showing a breakwater and the packet pier proposed in a report to John Hawkshaw and Colonel Sir Andrew Clarke, Royal Engineers, April 1873.
