Reports that the Police Magistrate has investigated the role of Mr Hinckson [or Hinkson?] and Private William Packman [also given as 'Packham' in earlier correspondence] of the 35th Regiment in the shooting of Joseph Brathwaite and has committed both to the Grand Sessions on a charge of wilful murder.
