Description

Ligonier [to Harrington], enclosing a table of the Austrian forces [SP 87/21/56]. Saxe has returned his Hessian prisoners, but not the Hanoverians. Ligonier wishes to return to England when the troops are in winter quarters. He asks if he should pay the ransom for the Hessian prisoners. Dated at camp at Ambie. ff. 146, 147
