Description

Responds to the Governor of Bermuda's concern that in times of war the island would be left without means of communication. Agrees to the necessity of telegraphic communication between Bermuda and Halifax. Encloses a printed copy of confidential correspondence between the Colonial Defence Committee and the Admiralty, which highlights the condition of telegraphic communication with West Indian Colonies.
