Nature of request
Denton requests that he be restored to his office of coroner in the liberty of Holderness according to the form of his letters. He was granted the bailiwick for his good service, but was ejected by Longleis who is now dead, and the bailiwick is wrongly in the hand of the king.
Nature of endorsement
If his disseisors in the assize of novel disseisin are dead, he should recover at the common law according as the case demands.
