- 1) The nuns state that they have lost their muniments with their house in a fire. They request that the king renew the charters and muniments according to the enrolled copies that can be found in the rolls of Chancery.2) The nuns further request that because of their impoverishment that the king grant to them that they be able to appropriate lands and rents from gifts up to a certain sum notwithstanding the statute of mortmain.1)
