- Berewyk shows that Woodford and his companions appointed to take a moiety of wool to the use of the king in Wiltshire took wool to the value of £25 17s. 3d. from him, which money the king by his letters patent granted that he have payment, but he has still not received anything. He has also been maliciously indicted before the justices of the forest of taking two does in the king's park of Clarendon and was fined £20. He requests that he can have a pardon and an allowance in lieu of full payment.
