Nature of request
Writ from Edward II to Henry Lescrop and his colleagues, justices, asking them to proceed with caution in the holding of an inquisition in the plea between Philip de Say, parson of the church of Hodnet, and Geoffrey de Wolseleye, parson of the free chapel of Marchamley, concerning the tithes of the free chapel of Marchamley, which is of the advowson of James, son and heir of Nicholas Daudeleye, under age and in the king's wardship, as the king is obliged to present him with his estate undiminished on his majority.
