Nature of request
The petitioner states that his late father was attainted of high treason, and by an act of parliament held at Westminster on 4 November in the first year of the reign of Edward IV he forfeited his estates. Percy requests that the acts of attainder and forfeiture made against his father be void, and that Percy should not be prejudiced by the act and be restored to his dignity, estate and pre-eminence. He requests that he be able to be possessed and able to enjoy the same from the 2 March in the 9th year of the reign.
