- The people of Dunwich, who hold their town at farm at the king's pleasure, ask that their town may be taken into the king's hand, or else that there may be an enquiry to establish more reasonable terms for payment, as a large part of their town has been destroyed by storms, and many of its inhabitants have left, and they can no longer pay the old farm, or the old assessment for the fifteenth, established in more prosperous days.
