- John Hende states that he had sued in various courts for the manor of Bradwell near Coggeshall in Essex, which had been seized into the king's hand, but ceased his suit when he learned that it was displeasing to the king, and put himself on the king's grace. He requests that the king and council ordain a fine for him for the said manor, as seems reasonable to them.
