Copy of a writ, dated at Chippenham on 20 October 1325, from Edward II to his treasurer and chamberlains requesting that they examine the rolls of John de Reygate and his companions, justices appointed to hold assizes in Nottinghamshire in the reign of Edward I, and send him any information they find on the record and process of an assize of novel disseisin held at Bolham between the prior of Worksop and John Vescy, William de Buggethorp, John Thorald, and Constance the widow of Henry de Almaine, concerning tenements in Gringley.Copy of the assize, held at Bultham in Nottinghamshire on the Tuesday after the feast of St Luke in the fourth year of Edward I's reign before John de Reygate and W. de Northburgh [missing except for title, due to damage to petition].
