Nature of request
Juliana, the widow of John Paynel, states that she brought her writ of dower against Hugh Paynel, parson of the church of Chilton, returnable at the quindene of Michaelmas last, and that process continued on this until the morrow of Martinmas, when Hugh vouched to warranty Richard, son of John de Gascrik, Elizabeth his wife, and Margery her sister, daughters and heirs of John Paynel, whose bodies and part of whose lands are in the king's keeping because of their minority. She requests the king's grace in this matter, so that she is not delayed in her dower.
Nature of endorsement
The justices before whom the plea is pending are to be ordered by writ of Chancery to proceed to do justice, notwithstanding that the heirs are under age, and their lands in the king's keeping.
