- Mary de Shepeye states that when she was lady-in-waiting to Joan, wife of Hugh de Quilly, in Kenilworth castle, the sheriff of Warwickshire seized the castle into the king's hand, and took Hugh and all his goods found in the castle, among which were some goods belonging to Mary. She requests that these be returned to her.
