- Everyngham requests that the king view and examine the record of William de Vescy concerning the bailiwick of the forest of Sherwood, and will give him remedy so that he is not disinherited of the bailiwick. Everyngham had petitioned in parliament that the king would grant him restoration of the bailiwick which William de Vescy and the other justices in Eyre at Nottingham of the pleas of the forest of Sherwood took into the hands of the late king. In response to the petition, the king ordered by a writ of Chancery to the treasurer and chamberlains to search the rolls of the eyre of Vescy, and certify the king why the bailiwick was taken into the king's hands.
