Rough/draft List of prisoners convicted at the Chester Assizes.

1. John Orme, coining, spring sessions . Initial sentence: death. Recommendation: transportation for life.

2. Richard Harrop, stealing a bay gelding, spring sessions 1786. Initial sentence: death. Recommendation: 7 years transportation.

Unclear as to whether the rest of the list indicates the original or the recommended sentences.

Thomas Bebbington and Thomas Robinson, spring 1784. 7 years transportation.

3. Paul Mason, summer 1784 transported for 14 years. 14 years transportation.

4. Deborah Ellam and Joseph Williams, summer 1784. 7 years transportation.

5. Jonathon Johnson, George Postlethwaite, John Hulmeand and Thomas Cooke, spring 1786. 7 years transportation.
