'Plan Shewing the Situation of Steven's Island in Bedford Basin'. Outline map of Halifax harbour: also shows proposed site for a bomb-proof powder magazine. Scale: 9 inches to 3 miles. Compass indicator. Signed by W Fenwick, CRE, and originally enclosed in his despatch of 24 March 1805 to General Morse (in WO 55/857, folios 325, 326 and 378).
