Sketch map of the area between Artvin, Erzurum, Karakilisse (now Agri) (all now in Turkey) and Aleksandropol (now Gyumri or Kumayri, Armenia), showing distribution of Russian and Turkish troops; roads practicable and impracticable for guns; and towns and distances between them. Reference table; note on the latest Russian reconnaissance, 24 May [1877]. Signed: E I B[?Bell], 2 July 1877. Originally enclosed in Sir Arnold Kemball's despatch of 20 May 1877, forwarded by Mr Layard on 6 June 1877.
