Scale: 3 inches to 2 nautical miles. Compass indicator. Originally accompanying Mr [?Angeloff's] despatch to Captain Clarke, Royal Artillery, 14 December 1876; forwarded to Sir Lintorn Simmons by the Quartermaster General.
