Description

Letter, largely in numerical cipher, concerning the siege of Tournai, the birth of a second son to the queen, the arrival of bullion in Spain and riots over bread in Normandy and the Auvergne. Dated at Mons. Contains an extract of the enciphered material regarding the czar, the king of Sweden and the siege of Tournai. ff. 373-377
