Adam Cardonnel to Under Secretary George Tilson: Lord Stair has been successful in obtaining corn and cattle. [Major General] Cadogan has almost agreed with the French commissary on the terms for the exchange of prisoners. Dated at camp at Rouselare. Continuation on 15 November: capture of some of Lord Stair's forces. The enclosed papers [SP 87/4/55, 56] are for Boyle's perusal only. M. Vendôme is laid up with gout, the princes are returning to court, and allied forces have the advantage in Spain. ff. 159-162
