Adam Cardonnel [to Under Secretary George Tilson]: they set out for Hanover on Monday, where Prince Eugene has asked Marlborough to meet him. The states general have written to the queen asking her to dispense with Marlborough's presence 'on this side'. He hopes Tilson will allow Lord Raby to visit [the secretariat] and has written to Raby recommending that he brings Boyle some Tokay. Dated at The Hague. ff. 9-11
