Description

Elector of Mainz to Marlborough, enclosing a detailed plan for the movement of the Saxon troops to Philippsburg. The command would go to either General Thüngen or the count of Nassau-Weilbourg. He gives his assurance that boats will be ready to transport the Saxons down the Rhine if necessary. Dated at Mainz. ff. 638, 639
