Marlborough [to Nottingham]: he has sent the lord treasurer a letter from the [grand] pensionary requesting information on the West Indies expedition. He approves the choice of Poley, but hopes it is not announced until something has been found for Stanhope. He requests that Poley should call on him at The Hague. The count de Frize should not be treated as an envoy. Dated at camp at Over Assel [?Overijse]. PS. on the measures he has had to take because of [Dutch] apprehensions on Nijmegen. ff. 13, 14
