Description

Extracts relating to the capitulation of the garrisons of Diksmuide and Deinze: articles of capitulation of Diksmuide on 26 July 1695; letter from Marshal de Villeroi to Prince de Vaudemont of 31 July 1695; extract from a letter from the king of France to Marshal de Boufflers of 2 August 1695; extract from the cartel applying to the prisoners of war; instructions to Colonel Graham signed by Governor Ellenberger and the senior officers of the garrison of Diksmuide; letter from the commissaire ex paludes at Namur to the intendant of wagons at Anderlecht on 14 July 1695 and the latter's reply of 16 July 1695, both concerning the retention of prisoners of war. ff. 129-132
