R.E.': hydrographic chart of Yedo (now Tokyo) Bay showing the courses of journeys made by Captain Frederick Brine Royal Engineers; also showing soundings, anchorages, canals, place names, roads, tea-houses, temples, European and American diplomatic legations, and the site of the murder of Mr Richardson on 14 September 1862. Reference notes on places of interest. Compass roses, with magnetic variation to 1863. [?Based on British Admiralty charts]. Inset: charts of 'Simoda Harbour'; 'Nahada'; and 'Yeddo' [i.e. Tokyo]. Stamped at the Topographical Department, War Office, 12 November 1864.
