'Bowles's New One-sheet Map of Scotland with the Distances on the post and other roads'. Reference table gives distances. Scale: 1 inch to about 16 miles. Compass star. [Published c 1780]. Coloured MS additions show the Ordnance Survey Principal Triangulation. Additional MS notes by Hastings F Murphy, Lt RE, 9 January 1834, and by M J Armstrong, Capt. Marked 'Copy'.
