'Proposals for the Location of the Nandi Tribes': topographical map of area (now in western Kenya) between 34°30' and 36°E and between the equator and 1°N, overprinted to show the alternative schemes for resettlement. Reference table to schemes. Base map compiled in the Intelligence Division, War Office, 1904. Overprinted February 1906. In upper left corner is the Colonial Office file reference: 'C.O./1952'. Originally bound with print of Commissioner J Hayes Sadler's despatch no 669 of 27 December 1905 in Colonial Office Confidential Print African no 771.
