Town plan of Sydney, Cape Breton Island, showing named streets and numbered reservations. Reference table distinguishes the lots laid out by five different surveyors. Scale: 1 inch to about 260 feet. Compass indicator. Surveyed by George Rodgers, Assistant Surveyor for Cape Breton and Deputy Surveyor General of Woods, on the order of Lieutenant Governor Des Barres, 20 July 1786. The reference table to the numbered reservations has remained under the reference T 1/738.
