This series contains the minutes and papers, and where they exist, the agenda of the main Council of the Association. Also included are the minutes and papers of the General Purposes Committee and the Executive Council. It is believed that these two bodies carried out the same functions under different names. Some volumes contain rough notes of meetings along with the signed version of minutes.
