The royal advocate in the following suit is Master Thomas Hamiltonof Drumcairn. William Gray of Inch [? ture] is donatory of the escheated property of George Kinnaird of [? Elderslie], put to the horn on 19 July last as a rebel following his alleged refusal to find legal surety of £2,000 against molestation of Gray and his wife Elspeth [elsewhere Elizabeth]. As the Crown granted the property to Gray on 20 July, it now pertains to him. Kinnaird is to be personally summoned, and all others having or pretending an interest in the matter required by open proclamation at the market crosses of Perth and elsewhere to appear before the lords of council and session on 15 November.
