Description

Letter from the Queen and the Council in the Marches to (names on dorse) Walter Blount, Humphrey Hill, Walter Brasier, Thomas Binte of 'the moore greene', Thomas Bint of Alton, John Hodges, Richard Notte, William Taylor, George Southwell, Humphrey Fydo, John Brasier 'the Shingell hewer', Edward Brasier, Anne, wife of the said Binte of the moore green, Anne, wife of the said Bint of Alton, Joan, wife of John Hodges, Katherine, wife of the said Richard Notte, Beatrice, wife of the said George Southwell, Joan, wife of the said Humphrey Fydo, Anne, wife of the said John Brasier, and Joan Binte, widow. They are to permit Anne, countess of Warwick, widow and her servants and officers to 'take and carry awaye the woodes between you and her in Traverse', or to appear before the Council in the Marches on 13 March to 'answere in that party as shall apertaine' on pain of £100 fine. Dated at Bewdley.
