Folio 386: Stormont to Weymouth. Deane has visited Vergennes and Maurepas twice. He comments on some of Deane's supporters, who assist him in recruiting half-pay officers, who have gone via Bordeaux. Coudray may have left with artillery and 70 men for St. Domingo and Boston. He names some French and English, who are involved in passing intelligence, smuggling and spying for Garnier. Beaumarchais has a plan to supply the French and Spanish fleets from Cork.
