Folio 108: Stormont to Rochford in reply to f.70. His chief fear would be a contest at the ceremony of the Sacre for precedence with the Spanish ambassador. The best pretext for not attending would be to be granted leave in order to take his seat in Parliament. Therefusal of the commissioners of customs to grant Guines a certificate will damage his case.
