Folio 45: Stormont to [Rochford]. Vergennes appreciated the satisfaction given over the seizure of prohibited goods in the French ambassador's stables [f.13]. He proposed, through Garnier, to have the trunk and contents taken to Calais and publicly burnt. Stormontrefers to an application by Guines for a certificate of regularity.
