Folio 19: Rochford to Stormont. He is to be warned against France claiming closer links with Britain than there really are. He is to check the truth of reports that Austria and Russia might act together, if the Turks gain any advantage on the Danube. Refers to theinsurrection in Oremburg. Intelligence received reports that Austria and Prussia will propose to the Czarina to exclude French interference in the Turkish mediation.
