Description

Folio 268: Harcourt to [Rochford]. The pretender was married by his proxy, the marquis Fitzjames, to the princess de Stolberg. Her eldest sister, aged 17, lately married the marquis de la Jamaique, son of the duke of Berwick. Guines has been recalled. Encloses ff. 270, 272, 274. Cowper is safe.
