Folio 224: Memorial from messers Lott, Low, Remsen and Low to governor Moore. It explains how the earlier payments for goods provided to Cayenne were always paid in ready money but recently the French government postponed payment and then paid in recognizances, which lose, when realised, 26 to 20%. It refers to ff.226 to 244.
