Folio 87: Porten to Shelburne. The [Canada] liquidation Office has rejected about 3 million [livres] of claims, some with forged documents. It denied undue delay. The tax was only 4 deniers, equal to 1½% and is called the droit de quartre deniers pour les invalides [see f.55].
