Folio 29: Lennox to Conway. Choiseul has sent to Guerchy the French case about fishing off St. Pierre and Miquelon. The removal of Praslin from foreign affairs is because he is tired of business and wishes to live in peace on his sinecure of 60,000 livres a year. He wants to hand over the marine department. The marquis de Châtelet is likely to succeed him on vacating the embassy in Vienna, where he is to be relieved by monsieur de Berenger as chargé d'affaires until the arrival of Durfort from Naples. Praslin's son, vicomte de Choiseul succeeds him in Naples.
