Folio 25: Sketch of instructions to the British Commissaries concerning prizes, prisoners of war and dates. Details the basis of the negotiations and sets out the British view on the limits of the Channel and Northern seas. The original and revised paragraphs [seef. 19] are marked and Albemarle's alteration in the translation explained. British policy on indemnification for prizes is set out. Instructions on American issues will follow.
