Records of service.

The confidential edition of the Navy List, 1914 to 1918 and 1939 to 1945, which gives more details of officers' services than the published edition, is in ADM 177. Seniority lists are in ADM 118.

Original returns and entry books, etc., of officers' services and other details, ADM 9, ADM 10, ADM 11, and ADM 196.

Ships' muster books, which list each officer and man aboard, ADM 36, ADM 37, ADM 38, ADM 39, and ADM 41; (the contents of ADM 40 have been transferred).
