Letters patent under Exchequer Seal, appointing William de la Pole of Kingston upon Hull, William de Thwenge of Foston, William de Surfleet, Alan de Shirwode and Thomas de Preston to enquire of the men of Northants, Yorks, Beds, Bucks, Kent, Lincs, Essex, Herts, Surrey and Cumb to whose hands after the death of William of Latymer came his goods and chattels, as he died owing the King £672 7s 0 1/2d, and to make return to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer at York on morrow of St Hilary. Witnessed by H[enry Burghersh], Bishop of Lincoln, Treasurer. Dated at York.
