Folio 128: E. Hay to H. Seymour Conway. Bankruptcy of some English merchants at Oporto. Complaisant attitude of the Wine Company to them. His discussion with the Count of Oeiras on this matter and latter's annoyance that Hay insisted Wine Coy. had no special juridicial rights over them. Encloses relevant documentation (ff.130-33).
