Folio 73: Kinnoull to W. Pitt. Rupture between the Court of Portugal and that of Rome is now final, as declared in the royal edicts which he encloses, together with English translations (ff.76-89). Forthcoming departure of the French ambassador. Restitution of a Spanish prize which had been unjustly taken by an English privateer, and Mr Maine's honourable conduct in this affair commended. War news from Germany and Holland.
