Folio 14: Henry Worsley to Lord Bolingbroke. Sailed on March 5 from the Isle of Wight and reached Lisbon after a passage of five days in record time. Has assured the Secretary of State that Queen Anne is resolved to support Portuguese interests at the peace negotiations at Utrecht to the utmost of her power. Secretary's cordial reply and his profession of support for Anglo-Portuguese Alliance. News about Spain and Morocco from Cadiz. Court is in mourning for the Queen of Spain. Expects to meet with great difficulties in negotiating a new treaty of commerce but will do his best.
